Reasons

Oftentimes I have been asked about  what I saw in you... that made me love you... And during those times, I would catch myself surprised and speechless... struggling so hard as I think of those wonderful qualities of yours that have captured my heart.  And so, in order to avoid such embarrassment... let me count the reasons why, this way, I would get to remember them by heart:

1. You showed your true self to me. No pretensions, no holds barred.
2. You are God-fearing and God-loving.
3. You have made many sacrifices for my sake - -  too many to mention all of them here.
4. You have accepted me for who I am, and you have forgiven me over and over again.
5. You are always after my happiness, my welfare and my safety.
6. You have helped me how to express and communicate my feelings more. Because of you, I have been more vocal and open to communication.
7. You are very patient and understanding towards me, despite my brattiness and tantrums sometimes.
8. You are very much giving and loving. You're a good provider.
9. You are smart and sensible.
10. You are handsome. (BONUS) This last reason has no bearing on how much I love you  even if the opposite if true.

Reminiscence

Four inches (on the waist) and 10 kilos back.... which was two years ago... If there was a time that I wanted to go back to.... that's exactly the time... when we first met... when we both had that certain level of innocence in our laughs... in our state of mind... in our being...  The time when you were so apologetic for almost making me miss the last train, and for what you called the "cab thing" incident, and for letting me know how smooth my left cheek was when i kissed you goodbye. You must have thought that I was too friendly then.  But I'm glad that you didn't think of it about me in a bad way. And now, after two years... here we are... still having a lot of laughs but with a more mature tone... with now more enriched state of mind and fullness in our being. And I'm glad to know that I make you happy... and like I've said... thank you for loving me my dearest lao gong. Thank you that from being an angel, you chose to be a mere mortal just so we could be together. But still, you'll always be my special angel... my notty angel J. Mahal Kita. And much as I was happy then when I first met you... I'm happier now that we are still together... and God willing... it will be forever...
